Fifty Years of Stone, Craft, and Community in East Texas
Berry Marble and Granite has been part of Tyler, TX and the broader East Texas community for more than fifty years. What started as a local stone shop built on honest work and careful craftsmanship has grown into one of the most trusted countertop fabricators in the region, serving homeowners and commercial clients from Longview to Jacksonville, Lindale to Athens, and everywhere in between.
We work in granite, marble, quartzite, quartz, soapstone, porcelain slab, cultured marble, and natural stone. Every material we carry, we know well. We know how it cuts, how it finishes, how it holds up in a busy kitchen or a high-traffic commercial space. That knowledge comes from decades of hands-on work, not a brochure.
Through the years, we have grown our team, added robotic saw technology that cuts to fractions of a millimeter, and earned credentials that fewer than three percent of fabricators in the country hold. But the core of what we do has not changed. Every project is treated as a custom job. Every customer gets our full attention. And every slab that leaves our shop has been measured, cut, and finished to fit the space it was made for.
We are not a production shop pushing volume. We are a local fabricator that takes pride in doing the job right, the first time, for people who live and work in the same communities we do. If you are planning a kitchen remodel in Whitehouse, a bathroom vanity in Bullard, or a commercial build-out in Longview, we would be glad to talk through your project and put together a free price quote with no obligation.
Part of the Artisan Group Network
What the Artisan Group Is
The Artisan Group is an elite network of independent countertop professionals across North America. These are not production fabricators running high-volume shops. Every member is an independently owned business that has been individually vetted and accredited by the Marble Institute of America. Membership is not open to just anyone who applies.
What It Means for You
Artisan Group membership gives Berry Marble and Granite access to global sourcing for granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone, and other natural stone materials. That sourcing reach, combined with the collective buying power of the network, means we can offer better pricing and stronger product warranties than a standalone shop working with a single regional supplier.
A Shared Standard of Quality
Every Artisan Group member holds NSI Accreditation. That shared baseline means the network’s best practices, quality controls, and customer service standards are consistent across every member shop. When you work with Berry, you are working with a fabricator that is held to those standards every day, not just at the time of certification.

NSI Accreditation: What It Is and Why It Matters
NSI Accreditation is the Marble Institute of America’s formal recognition that a fabricator meets documented standards across every part of their operation. Fewer than three percent of stone fabricators in the United States hold this credential. Berry Marble and Granite is one of them, and one of the very few in East Texas.
How It Is Earned
Accreditation is not purchased or self-reported. It requires written documentation of business practices, written technical exams, letters of recommendation from industry peers, and an in-person facility site visit. The NSI reviews physical operations, equipment, and processes before granting the credential.
What It Covers
The accreditation process evaluates physical facilities, technical knowledge, quality control procedures, workplace safety, business ethics, and customer service standards. It is a comprehensive review of how a shop operates, not just what it produces.
What It Means for Customers
When you see the NSI seal, you know the fabricator has been held accountable to documented standards. It protects you from poor workmanship and unscrupulous business practices. It also means customer satisfaction is not just a talking point. It is a documented priority that the NSI holds us to.
Our Robotic Saw Technology
Precision matters in stone fabrication. A cut that is off by even a few millimeters means gaps at the wall, uneven seams, or a countertop that simply does not fit the way it should. Our robotic saw technology delivers cuts accurate to fractions of a millimeter, which is a level of consistency that hand-guided equipment cannot reliably match. The result is a tighter fit, cleaner seams, and a finished countertop that looks the way it was designed to look. You will see exactly what you are getting before we cut a single slab.
